Nope. Flat out rape.
Also not cool with the way everyone is forcing themselves on Akira (everything from kisses to sex) "because he's feminine."
O.m.g.
This is the very reason I love yaoi. There's just that something of it that draws you in the same way a moth dives in flame. Hmm... how to put it? A bit of that corrupted fallen love, obsession, instead of the usual light fluffy flowers and butterflies? Darker, more attractive, a deeper yet beautiful love~
Lol sorry, I'm totally in my yaoi-fan mode.
Maybe I'm just a sucker for music related manga, but this was amazing, The plot didn't just take the characters and their feelings but also related it to their music and expressions. They go into how love can have many different form and show how in each form, every one is still true love. Gorgeoous story and art, loved it from beginning to end. Definitely not a cliched music theme but rather deep and heartfelt that will tug at your heartstrings.
I usually dont like music-related manga because hey, you can't really 'read' music now can ya? But, this is excellent. Its all about the characters and thats what makes it so great. Not too dramatic, but still interesting, and with an interesting relationship to build on. Im going to now read the sequel, im hooked good and proper.
I fell in love right on the first chapter. I have a weak spot for mangas that use music to express feelings, too.
The characters are incrediblde. Sunaga is...I can't even describe him. He's persuasive, TOO sexy, mysterious, sadistic, perv...and yet he's just the type of seme I like. He has also a destructive and a hurt part that makes my heart throb.
But Akira isn't bad, either! I usually don't care much for the ukes, but I like Akira's super ego, and that he puts his pride before everything - it suits him! He's also determined, strong and fierce, not whiny at all! <3
Summing it up, what I like is how well-made the characters are. They are so psychologically developed that they could have been real people.
Also, I think the way they fell in love is beautiful. It's quite obvious that they were attracted to each other as soon as they met. Akira can hide it as much as he wants, but his body expressions shows just how much he's affected by Sunaga even before he makes it clear. And how thye're relationship makes progress so slowly...because even if they did have sex before they acknowledge each other's feelings, they understood each other since the beginning.
Oh, but I have to say, it did remind me a little of Gravitation, although Gravi is a much more childish manga. But I guess it can't be helped, everyone thinks of Gravi when it's related to music since it's become so popular...
The art, as usual from Tateno-sensei, is marvelous. Hot bodies, sexy/cute faces.
It did make a good impression on me, also because I loved even the other characters such as the band !
I really don't go for this kind of angsty story/plot but it was great. I like destined cross better or gravitation. This series is much more deeper than DC or Gravitational, dark past/rape/unrequited love. I really like the uke/akira, his cold/selfish personality yet so caring inside. Im really looking forward to the sequel of this series and hoping someone will scanlate it.
This is a wonderful yaoi series. I was really impressed by the art, very pretty indeed, the characters are interesting and I always anticipated their actions. Generally, for me, I like anything that involves music and forming bands, so I really liked the plot... It's hot and attractive AND actually has a nice plot! I'd absolutely recommend it!
