MC is not only a simp, but the story is all about other guys fucking ALL the chicks for about 90% of the story. Only at the very last 10 chaps MC has finally some sex -> Yes you heard me right, for about 70+ chaps we look at the other guys fucking their girls while the beta cuck sits in the lab and tinkers on a solution, which he of course made because it needs to make even more male protags which have their own harem too... in a "harem" manga lol.
Story is about MC waking up in a world where only 5 men exist and need to procreate to continue humanity.
No balls self-cucking MC refuses to have sex and doesn't want to have sex with anyone else besides his female friend who he idolizes as his unicorn "girlfriend", so instead he decides he'll make a cure for le evil man-killer virus and the government agrees to his lmfao. Truly garbage
On the upside there are like 2 other males in the manga that actually have sex who basically replace the MC. The MC finally has sex
with his unicorn girlfriend on chapter 74 and the manga ends on chapter 85.

A virus killed every single male on earth.
Only 6 guys are immune to it.
Now it's up to them to repopulate the planet... and OF COURSE artificial insemination doesn't work (yeah right), so they must do it the old fashioned way.
well well well, how should I put this.
I wish it was an hentai XD. possibly, an hentai with no restraints, no stupid predictable mystery plot with no progress, no school comedy, no weird, tired and overused camera angles, no overly serious tone.
and, more importantly, no more than 10 chapters.
with that out of the way, here's my personal list of this manga's crucial flaws:
- it's Japanese. and by that I mean typical Japanese manga: out of the 3 male survivors , those getting more screentime are the 2 stupid wimps instead of the actually potentially interesting cool guy. and of couse, most of the focus is on the same, tired, obvious, overused school setting with nothing but blushing girls all over the damn place. there's no reason for Wimp #2 to get that much screentime. oh wait, I know why...
because 2) there's no planning involved. the author obviously rushed the first 4 chapters around the weak premise (not to mention the "oh well artificial insemination doesn't work" nonsense), and with those done he had no idea how to continue to story, so he just went with the flow and focused on the school. - it doesn't know what it wants to be. mistery? not much here, and when it does the author feels the obligation to insert giant boobs and ecchi gags everywhere. school harem? oh please don't start me on that. none of the girls are even remotely interesting (I mean they're all over the only guy by default) and the overly excited wimp#2's agent is the kind of character I hate the most.
4 points for the competent art. it could have been a 6, but I'm not into some of the characters designs.
That rest gets a 0.

i expected a cheesy "ultimate harem" manga and was surprised by how strong and interesting the story is (albeit a bit slow to pick up momentum, perhaps, but the long-term payoff is real). The ecchi content is actually much more mild than I expected. There are some plot points that initially don't seem to make sense, but as the mystery unfolds, the pieces start coming together. All in all, a very interesting read.
A virus wipes out all males aside from the ones in cyrostasis. Only 5 of those males are immune to said virus, so you can imagine it's a mix between a hunt for the cure and a baby-making free for all. There's plenty of fanservice as you'd expect and the whole mystery aspect of who made the virus is somewhat interesting, but slow in progression. Three of the five males are active so far, and the perspective shifts between them. The main MC is trying to stay faithful to his girlfriend while desperately searching for her and a cure to the virus. He's kinda wimpy, but I appreciate that his main purpose is mostly progression of the mystery aspect of the story. If you want fanservice and harem action, the other two active males fulfill plenty of that anyway.
Also in regards to rnoldstrife's comment. Rather than blatantly sexist, I think you're missing the point that the virus was clearly man-made. Going from that, the person or group doesn't want a cure to be found, so obviously they'll try to suppress attempts at research and silence people that come close to the truth. It's not that women in the story aren't smart enough to find a cure, it's that anyone smart enough to know what's going on is either hiding or has already had a bullet put in their head. Also the MC is not some random kid, the university professors call him a prodigy in the first chapter.
Let me preface the review in that I love harem and ecchi series. For example I like Freeing, Maken-ki, To-Love-ru, Monster Musume, Sora no Otoshimono, etc. the list goes on and on.
But! this one is even to sexist for me in a different way. Alot of time a series can be pretty sexist but it's done so pretty comedic or blatantly obvious. This series does so too. The premise itself is after all you are one of the last few guys and you have to have sex with as many people. That's blatantly obvious. I can live with that, I usually even like it.
What's terrible is the seemingly unintended sexism that basically sets it up as women are incompetent. They literally can't be scientists or other typically guy things. Civilization was nearly destroyed not because of the loss of 50% of the world population. It ended because guys weren't around and women apparently can't pick up an instruction manual on how to use tech.
It starts as a joke but as the series got further and further it became background stock in a way that doesn't seem like the author even realizes it's a joke anymore. The world building is setup that a random normal male kid (not secretly a genius, or even really a specialist) has a better shot at researching a cure than the entire leftover population of the human race. That narrative that because you're a girl this kid is basically better than you because he's a guy is pushed directly and subtly over and over again. He's also painfully pathetic as male lead in a harem goes, so it's even worst.
The only thing going for it is the art. You're best off just ignoring the words and looking at the pretty pictures if you must. But this series is trash and not just a trashy harem series. But just a piece of trash.
First I am borrowing drunkguy's review in toto:"The story is trying to create the dumbest dickless wonder in the history of manga. Don't bother thinking too hard about the plot. This is a fanservice vehicle. Nudity is frequent since every chapter is pretty much about trying to get him to have sex." 392u50
I've noticed over the years that Japanese men have an absolute inhibition against having sex except in a narrow collection of circumstances (love, marriage, or in Soapland). Either that, or the manga publication business requires its authors, for some reason, to portray Japanese men that way.
So this manga simply shows that absolute inhibition (you might call it an "immovable object") in conflict with an irresistible force (womens' desire to have children to carry on the race). We all know which side would win in the end, so why bother to go through the motions?
Oh yes, in order to show a lot of near-naked women, of course.... It does a really fine job of showing the women. If that's what you're after, this is good. 1v361z
PS: It occurs to me that this manga might seem less pointless and silly to Japanese men. If they really are trained growing up to have the absolute inhibition against getting sexual except in the few permitted situations, then the male MC's bizarre struggle against Doing IT may seem more real to them.
