It's been a month since she entered high school, and Jun has started noticing a particular guy hanging around her classroom. When he suddenly confesses, she's not sure where she even knows him from--or how she feels about him. But come what may, he seems pretty intent on sticking around... 46c2e
2 Volumes (Complete)

I really like stories where the male lead's whipped towards the girl, but minus points bc I didn't like how the girl kept hurting the poor guy even if it wasn't intentional, and also she's just your usual generic female MC and nothing new at all.
Sweet, refreshing, somehow realistic, pure, sweet couple, out of ordinary romance shoujo, not classical story,no popular couple element and amusing story.
Love it and I want more from this Comedic-Romance story
My Hero is a short 2 volume story about a forward boy and a somewhat shy girl. The boy confesses but she rejects but slowly but surely falls in love with the boy who doesn't stop.
This series would've been great if it only was a one shot tbh. The chapters were basically the author using tropes like, sleeping or not really understanding what someone says so the other person doesn't understand they confessed. Its a bad trope and does bring the series but its also short so its not like a major effect.
The love rival addition though. That was pointless. like literally just random extension put in. At least the author used a previous character rather than create new one so he had minimal depth.
Cute moments alone however isn't enough for me to recommend this series. but it is good enough for me to smile from time to time. 5/10
I really wish there were more chapters. I loved the 2 main characters the most. They were adorable together. It would have been nice to see:
A flash forward showing them together which I mean, they obviously were going to be together forever it just would have been nice to see. It hints at it heavily when the picture of Yutarou's grandparents look just like them.
at first i wasn't sure about reading it but now i'm so glad i did!
i was so sick of reading cliche shoujo mangas but this was a great change
a few reasons why i like the manga:
-not cliche
-very likeable characters ( the guy isn't your stereotypical shoujo manga main character which was great)
-genuinely funny
-great art
-really cute
I was hesitant to read this at first, mostly because the cover made it look like the female lead is seriously annoyed by the male lead, but the reviews looked good, so I gave this a go.
My, oh, my, do I not regret giving this manga a chance.
The female lead is smart and genuinely likeable and the male lead is such an adorkable guy. Seriously. He's heartwarmingly sincere, which, I suppose, is what won the female lead over.
The art is cute but the characters themselves is what got me to give this a 10.
It's the type of story where I can see them telling their kids about how they fell in love. Where the female lead is shaking her head with fond exasperation as her husband tells their kids how he won mommy over with his everything.
The female lead is an actual decent human being and it's so depressing that that's such a rare thing in typical shoujo manga. The male lead is an earnest person, and neither of them are jerks. Seriously.
They hit a few bumps and react like any teenager would, but the story remains light and earnest. I ended up laughing out loud at some parts, which was a huge huge plus.
I was pretty teary at the end while smiling like a crazy person. Perfect ending. This was sweet, funny, and all in all a great read.

Seriously, this is my absolutely favorite romance manga!
Where can I find myself a Yutarou? I'd really like to know because he's the most awesome guy that's ever crossed my way 😀
But the end! Gaaaa! How can you do this to me mangaka?? Xo
It's a hilarious ending, but I wanted a satisfying ending, I wanted them to finally start dating and kiss! :s
Just one last chapter where that happens and I would have felt so much happier at the end (>.<)
But still! Super awesome manga! A must read! ;D
This was just awesome to me! It is like reliving those young high school days, really makes you feel refreshed after that,
But i just couldn't stand that even at the end Jun can't confess her feelings to him AT HIS FACE, i mean, he dang forgotten?!! some real dang amnesia he had there! Whyyy author must you not let her feelings for him be known to him after so many chapters...why must you let me suffer...i mean, that poor guy...don even know for sure the girl likes him not, sigh
His great caringness is too much for him to bear this pain
