The whole magic part makes no damn sense. (ʘ言ʘ╬) MC is the most op in the world but bc of some poison he initially dies. Once back to life he itted that being a knight or at least having a knights body would be beneficial if one would get poisoned bc somehow they are resistant against all kinds of poison. But then he goes and enhances his body and that of his horse while he is weaker than before he died?!?!?! why couldnt he have done that when he was op? for the plot!

There are interesting bits at the start, and things are OK for a while, but during the war against Arthurs empire the quality of the writing really drops off a cliff and never recovers. I regret the time I wasted reading this.
Not only that, the plot is also not really intriguing and unique enough to pull it off.
No good comedy, unimpressionable action, I wouldn't have minded a generic plot if the execution is good but it's not and reeks of power fantasy if you have a thug mindset.
The turn of events are also predictable and there's no intensity.
Funnily enough, there happens to be another series https://mangaupdates.sitesdebloques.biz/series.html?id=135587 with a similar premise and title. It has better art, better events, better action, and overall better execution. Why should you read this when the other one exist? (Unless you can self-insert in this one better... lol)

I was hoping when he lost his buff he'd just go in to win the tournament like that, showing that he does have what it takes without the crutch of his magic. Which you'd think he'd have learned his lesson since he died because he relied too much on his magic without giving the physical guys more credit. Worse, once he cancelled the debuff & slapped a new one himself it felt like...what's the English word...unsportsmanlike?
He's not likeable, he's smarmy and this story/plot is oddly pointless. He has no goal beyond getting rich? I thought he'd rambled on and on about revenge or whatever earlier? I've read a lot of reincarnation/time travel/reversal of fortunes and a lot of them are bad but not bad in such a specifically bland and banal way as this.
I was interested during the military part, but things went downhill fast afterwards. The mercenary and money-making portions were mediocre. Then, after that, when our protagonist began to harass fish farmers to forward his own agenda, I lost interest entirely.
if there is a good thing to get from this is hope:
if such a garbage series managed to get published and even caught the interest of a group of translators then there is hope for everyone.
i don't mind the reincarnation and revenge premise even though it's a very overused cliché but everything is just bad: obnoxious main character, bad writing, bland setting and characters, horrible drawings.
there is just no saving grace here.
Average, the art is average low quality, the story is average and get real boring real soon.
The start is different from Revolution of the 8th Class Mage
First in Return he gets sent back in time and he is reborn with his mother in his peasant home. This one he is reborn the day after he is killed. He was also betrayed by his friend in Return, not his friend's son. He also never learns swordsmanship in Return. I would say it is still somewhat generic, because it is the getting killed and revenge plot thing.
The protagonist is also seems to be much more ruthless and angry compared to Return. It already feels somewhat worse compared to it. He also makes less rational decisions compared to Revolution. Most characters are pretty one note at the moment.
