Shuichirou is in the habit of sneaking into the terrace of his school building during lunch, while skipping class, or when he wants to put off going home. There, he often meets with Konno. Konno is a guy shrouded in rumour: with some saying he's dark and intimidating but others claiming he's a photography enthusiast and an unexpectedly nice guy. 6ucc
Jealousy, envy, and an odd sort of mutual regard colours the interactions between these two young men: one who conceals his feelings behind a cheerful facade and the other whose simple-minded, pure-hearted demeanour makes his friend's previously avoidant existence rife with internal conflict...
2 Volumes (Complete)

Idk why im so into this, maybe its bc of the tension, or maybe i feel so related with hakayawa in some way. The story its so real that i wondered if this was the author’s own experience.
This was a well-put-together story, but it just wasn't my style. It's all about the atmosphere and this didn't jive with me. I could point out a handful of specific reasons, but they would be spoilers so I won't.

This manga has the most intelectually satisfying pre-sex discussion in all yaoi stories i've come by. It reminded me of me with my bf, talking about such stuff in order to make it good for both sides ^-^.
The story isn't something big, but it's interesting and the characters are good.
God, I love a slow romance. It’s got character development, back story, and it’s a reunion that actually adds to the plot and doesn’t just make you sad. :-)
Although Hayakawa did something awful to Konno at first, the rest of the story was really satisfying as I enjoyed the slow-paced romance with deep feelings building up gradually. Meeting Konno was a miracle for Hayakawa so it’s really reasonable that he loved him and changed for the better because of that.
Overall, it’s a comforting story with enough development and thoughfulness.
I liked it, because - unlike many of the yaoi out there - it actually has a story to it and multidimensional characters. You feel like you get to know them. Their feelings come accross very well too. And I am always a sucker for slow paced romance that builds up your anticipation.
"Only" an eight, because there was more potential. Masterpiece potential even, but it wasn't quite there yet.

no, not the first one, which was assault, but the seme was really a saint and easy-going enough to be like "stop that you fucker, we're supposed to be friends" and leave it at that. I have mixed feelings because hayakawa was awful in that scene but konno really was humoring him o_o what the fuck man, don't just let someone assault you and brush it off.
anyways, after they eventually get together, the resulting sex scene is literally one of the best things I've ever seen in BL. it's not very romantic and feels....authentic?! like literally two individuals with personalities in love agreeing to have sex with each other and the process to get there. it's worth suffering through hayakawa's awfulness in the beginning to get to them accepting themselves and loving each other in the process in the end. enthusiastic and consistent consent!!!! who would have thought. im dead.

I've made two attempts to read this one, but I just can't bring myself to finishing it. It's probably good for fans of twisted or psychological stories, but I'm not a fan of
"rape/non-con/sexual abuse used as something not so bad/romance prologue/feelings realizer" driven comics so it's a big no from me
