5 Volumes (Complete)
2 Volumes Wideban (Complete)

If I'm not mistaken this is 1st lengthy baseball manga by Adachi. Although 5 Volumes pales in comparison to the length of his other baseball manga.
This manga is often overlooked when people discuss Adachi manga which is a pity.
What makes this manga unusual from his other baseball manga is that the MC is not a prodigious pitcher. His talent is speed and athleticism.
As expected there are strong rivals in both baseball and love to complicate matters.
Anyone who likes Touch, H2, Cross game and Mix will also enjoy this manga.
I am still holding out hope that the anime movie trilogy of this series gets subbed some day
For someone who doesn't like watching baseball Adachi manages to always get me come for more of his manga.
While not Adachi's best work, the charm and intelligence don't disappoint. Baseball has always been a big thing with this mangaka, which is illustrated beautifully. The characters are generic, but still carry an interesting story. Wonderful.
It's fairly understandable considering how long ago this manga was published, but it's a fairly generic baseball manga if you compare it to Adachi's other works.
At the time though, it was probably something to behold.
To read out of curiosity or if you have time to kill. Especially if you've read his other baseball works.
My scoring so far (completed readings):
-Rough 9.2
-Katsu 8.5
-Miyuki 7.5
-Hiatari Ryoukou 7
-Nine 6.5
