Love the art and the story. Not sure what happened, but the ending was so rushed that it wasn’t even drawn out completely.
There were drawn s mixed in with mostly text that really didn’t bring the storyline to a conclusion.

Pimo as the author of this shitty manhua has totally failure to create a truly impressive fantasy storyline. Instead, the plot is flat, long-winded, and even greatly boring. She inspired the plotline by putting story elements like in the famous fantasy TV series, but the results were far from expectations. And other readers also know it and those who have followed this shitty manhua are not stupid like those idiot fanatics of P’s social media on her W. And if only she was not selfish and acted like a shitty bitch who could accept criticism and even though it was constructive or harsh, it would have an impact on the development of her manhua. Not just the storyline, but the quality of the draws skills.
Long story short, she is a newbie whose her trashy work is not much different from the level of newbie authors on Wattpad.
FYI. This obscure manhua ended in chapter 131 a month ago with a very, VERY disappointing ending. There are so many plot holes that it even ends up cliffhanger without any reasonable explanations. Everything ends very hastily since that lousy author Pimo didn’t know what she’s wrote.

...that I avoided this series because of negative comments I read from other readers. I gave this a chance and now, at about 25 chapters in, I'm glad I did. This is one of those rare manhuas that's actually GOOD. The biggest complaint people have is the inc*st plotline, and I totally get it. I immediately marked this as a no-read once I heard about that. But hear me out:
I don't know where other readers got the idea that Yumi willingly slept with her brother and was down bad for him because she wasn't. Her own maid explains that Yumi's father and brother forced her and wanted her to give birth to a child prior to her entering the tyrant's harem all for the sake of continuing their pure bloodline. That "keeping it all in the family" plotline isn't anything new; many other stories (Lucia, anyone?) deal with the same thing. It doesn't make it right, but it doesn't mean Yumi consented and enjoyed what happened to her. In fact, she's disgusted when her brother tells her he was her first. And her brother dies quickly in the story, so unless something changes in later chapters and he comes back to life and Yumi changes her tune, that part of the story is dead and buried along with the brother himself. So I highly suggest giving this one a chance. At least read past the first five chapters then decide whether you like it or not.
I tried to like this one, but it felt like the plot just kept repeating the same plot points over and over.
It got too annoying to read and I gave up.
Maybe someone else will enjoy it, but it wasn’t for me.
So good so tasteful so pretty. Just shut down your brain occasionally and enjoy the ride

This is one of the best manhua I've read. The FL is smart, capable, and comionate. The ML is much the same but also incredibly charismatic. Even the villains and side characters are complex. The story itself is interesting and layered with political and social strife. I found that the social commentary was also quite well done. Overall, I would highly recommend!
