It's been a long time since I've actually complimented on a female lead and this manga has achieved that award. The female lead is not annoying at all. It's just that she feels guilty for she might hurt one of her childhood friends. I'm happy with the pairing, too. Overall
This manga is much better than I would expect from first work of any author. Even though it is short plot does have something to it. I can't understand people who didn't like it. If you don't like such manga why even bother starting reading with such a description, because this manga is quite decent one for a shoujo about love triangle.

At first glance, looking at the cover, I thought I wanted Yukari to end up with Haruhi(?), but when I began reading the story, I knew that I absolutely wanted Yukari to choose Ruka. (I thought I would prefer the cool guy in glasses, but my shotaro complex wins out and I like the cute younger guy more)
Yay, happy end! Although it was painfully obvious who she liked, I was fearing the worse during the birthday incident, but luckily the game hadn't ended yet. But I do feel sorry that Haruhi was on the losing side. I hope that he meets the one when by the time he comes back so everyone can be happy.
I would have given this a 10 if not for the one shot. I hated it. I hate the girl for being dominant and in control of the guy. (I believe the only one that can rough a guy up like that is another guy, if you know what I mean)
I'm not sure why this has gotten so many bad ratings... I thought it was a decent enough manga. Sure, it's not anything too amazing or unusual, but it's worth a read. I found it cute and amusing. Both of the male leads were kind of annoying in their own way... but when you put the two together, they were sort of funny and at least the manga carried a good message of friendship being stronger than romantic relationships. I really liked seeing that in a manga, since it's something that often gets cast aside. The ending was pretty solid, too.
