The good:This manga have a good way of telling the story in that it isn't straight forward at time and in some cases have twisted and turn. The drawing is superb with good variety of faces, monster, and enviroment, it is probably the strong point of this manga.

The bad: One of the thing that I hate about this manga is its characterization, in some cases they're too extreme in other cases they're too common. It have the usually cute and kind girl, the usual tsundere, the usual tomboy, and the usual distant lover kind of girl. The main character, to me, is well weird, for a shounen manga he is too bipolar, at one point he almost let a whole city die because he doesn't want to trust people by going to his dorm ( there no point, if the city die afterward).

But since i haven't finish it i cna't say much but so far, I'm trying to give myself a reason to read this since i like the setting....

The story takes place in a world that has been destroyed by pollution. The only safe havens left are shielded walking cities that protect their inhabitants from the poisonous air and 'filth monsters', giant bugs which thrive in the wasteland and prey on humans. I have only one question: WHERE IS CAPTAIN PLANET?!

This story was good as long as it followed the original novels, but Vols. 5 & 6 are quite different in of story telling. Basically they are a collection of WTF?!?! moments for me. I can't get into it because of spoilers, but they basically ruined the story for me with emo-overdrama added only for drama's sake and a nonsensical chain of events that I don't even care about trying to piece together; it was that bad. My advice is stop at the end of Vol. 4 and either hope one of the other mangas for this series is better or do like I am and start reading the novels (In English or Japanese).

I really love this manga! I saw the anime! It's out with only 2 eps at the moment!
The is really pretty and the plot is good~
