A manwha for foodies, with a little romance on the side. At the moment (7 chapters in) it feels a little like a tourist brochure for the cuisine of Korea, but the art is very nice. There's the barest storyline (each chapter is simply a visit to a different food establishment). What's missing in that department is made up for in detailed descriptions of the food. Don't read this if you're hungry.

You probably have to be a guy to appreciate this beautifully drawn but understated manga. Guys (some of us, anyway) can start liking a woman solely because she's fun and hot (or just hot!). This manga is told in the first person. The guy in it tells his own story of taking Yumin out for a meal occasionally. There's nothing very special in it for him or her. He's generous and polite, and she's very beautiful and hot. Each enjoys that most obvious aspect of the other--plus all the great Korean food they share, succulently drawn by the accomplished Boichi.

Gradually things change between them--just a little. It's fun to imagine being the guy in the story as he starts to become aware that maybe Yumin likes him more than just as someone who buys her dinner. There's a turning point. (See if you can spot it.)

If I were the guy in this, I'd be thrilled.

In short, this manga is a fun vignette of one way love can arrive in the real world--started by a venturesome man with a bit of hope--and without any histrionic desire at the start, drama in the middle, or heated declarations along the way.

this manga was really boring to me. Its lacking in romance and has way too much food, i mean i like food and all but this is just to much. If your a person who likes food then go ahead and read it but otherwise its not worth reading
