First rule of the workplace: don't date your boss. It's a rule that should be easy for workaholic lawyer Hyeonseo Cha to follow, especially since her new boss, Jeonghyeok Seo, has a reputation of being a heartless playboy who only cares about money. But despite his infuriating smirk and arrogant tone, Hyeonseo finds herself slowly being drawn to him as he wears down the armor of cold indifference she's worn over the years. But does he feel the same towards her? Or is Hyeonseo just setting herself up for a devastating heartbreak? 32k3l

Literally one of the comments made on this webtoon, and I am stealing as my comment's subject line because WHAT FLOW?!?! The audacity to use this title when there is NONE 🤣. Another comment said production probably suddenly got axed and they had to cut it at 50 eps, which ruined the pacing. Regardless of the truth (we readers shall never know...), pacing is unfortunately NOT the only thing that ruined this webtoon -- at least for me, anyway. I have so, so many issues with this story that I actually need to braindump it all, so here goes.
- The art is good, but it feels weird at times. Characters' noses are gone sometimes. FL's eyebrows are super thick. Sometimes it's chibi art, sometimes it's not. The art was the only redeeming thing about this webtoon, and even then it's ehh.
- There are some really racyyyy scenes that I don't mind, but on the Webtoons app where there are young kids...? I thought it was supposed to be a fluffy romance, not a borderline 18+ one. Doesn't quite sit well with me that that gets thrown in so choppily.
--- It was just so fascinating how suddenly, there was spice, and then suddenly, there was not. Very inconsistent, which is on brand with the whole story LOL. - Time to complain about the characters and storytelling!!!! The characters are a MESS. There was no substance, no emotions from the characters. How did the ML and FL even fall in love? We don't know LOL. It would've been helpful if we had more insight, like more internal monologuing or something to reveal their thoughts, but no. The storytelling gave whiplash cuz things kept happening, and it's like "what just happened?!". The (VERY dry) dialogue* and s moves the plot along, but you don't even feel any continuity and it's truly difficult to understand the characters. It's literally so bizarre.
--- The ML is an arrogant jerk from the start to end, and it's not even the "rich arrogant CEO type". He just has NO redeeming qualities whatsoever.
--- The FL gave off intelligent femme fatale vibes at the start, but somehow loses more and more brain cells as each chapter goes by. She is the definition of the opposite of "character development". For someone who's a top-notch lawyer, she has zero talking skills; she can't even rebuke ML when he's being an arrogant ass.
--- We should've been given more details about ...
ML being a past womanizer. How FL lived with so much debt and still looked fancy at the start. The stipulations behind the 5 billion won contract ML "bought" out FL with. I'm missing a lot, but there were details in the story that was "just there" for plot purposes and we don't know more.
--- The only good characters were ML's secretary and FL's bff, but that's only because they serve as flat characters to the story and nothing else.
- *The dialogue deserves its own bullet point, cuz yeah, it was bad. I don't usually think of the way people talk in webtoons, but I was marvelling at how terrible the script was here. The depressing conversation that comes up sometimes, about life and blah blah; totally unnecessary. Too much work talk in the beginning. Also, the repetition of "don't mix of personal and professional life" -- omg, shut up with this already because they BOTH suck at it LOL.
Other complaints that need a spoiler tag.
- Ch 19: When ML and FL first sleep together. Misunderstanding ensues when ML's note about him leaving early is conveniently left on the ground. Where was it in the beginning? How'd it even drop?? Ugh.
- At the end, when ML gets hit by truck-kun and his head is bleeding, yet has no bandages whatsoever afterwards -- and FL still has her bandaged hand from a stupid little cut. They even reference their physical injuries, but somehow ML's head got missed?! That plot hole, man...
- Ch 49: He begs her to go back together with him. She rejects him. Sits on a bench and reminisces 3 short scenes. Goes to his hotel room. They make up and are back together again. HAHA WHAT EVEN IS THIS PROGRESSION?! I have no words.
- The sudden return of an early plot point: the wife of the branch manager guy who committed suicide comes up and FL is volunteering with her. Why does this suddenly have relevance? It's not like we saw much of ML's conscience. It was so left field to suddenly read about...
Honestly, I want to give this a lower rating, because this is the first time I read a romance webtoon where I was thinking "I am wasting my time". It was so bad that I find it hilarious 🤣. I do respect the effort put into creating a webtoon, so here's a ing mark.

The flow, since it's in the title is completely off. We started with a toxic revengeful CEO vs indebted poor communication quasi orphan girl, classic in the josei genre.
The reason why those two fall in love in the end doesn't make sense any sense, and then they change their mind all of a sudden without any proper reason.
There's really not much to save in this story.
if you have the patience, you'll get by. romance is meh, but somehow it is my guilty pleasure.
