1 Volume (Complete)

It has potential to be extremely sweet and cute, but it skipped over some plot points (the ending for instance).
It was a great manga, funny and cute. However I found that it was desperatly missing something, a climactic love scene. At the very least I expected a kiss scene. I was generous with my rating, I it. As far as shoujo manga is concerned, I believe that this one hit the mark and is worth the read.
The synopsis for Help!! did not used to be this one. I wonder if the person who wrote the synopsis for this story actually read it? It's actually about a girl who is really small for her age fighting the odds against her to achieve her dream of becoming a doctor. The main character isn't much of a cry baby by my standards. She's a very determined girl. While she does have her teary moments, she’s fighting against tremendous odds, she’s far away from home for the first time, and has a professor who repeatedly tells her to give up. I dare anyone not to shed a tear or two in those circumstances! And I didn't think she is any more of a 'dimwit' than any other person not used to trauma or traumatic situations. It takes more than book learning and working on a cadaver to learn how to handle a life and death situation. That’s why doctors have to do residency under the guidance of a fully qualified doctor. In the story, she ends up living next door to her hard-nosed but very handsome professor who has some personal ‘trauma’ of his own which is how they end up developing a relationship.
I gave it 10 points because I really liked it and I’d gladly read it again.
By the way, I've noticed that this is not the only story whose synopsis has been altered - not for the better, I might add. (And it doesn’t seem to be Baka-Updates doing it. It seems to be whoever has taken over writing the synopsis for the story.) While this one is intelligible (though incorrect), I’ve noticed that some of them have been changed to jibberish. It seems to me that someone who doesn’t speak English well has changed it. Sometimes it’s like they wrote it in their language and used an online translation site to translate it word-for-word and ended up with nonsense. I don’t normally say anything but when they had the audacity to remove the perfectly intelligible and correctly written synopsis with their own completely unintelligible jibberish (as in some of the others), such arrogance deserves being pointed out.

When I first started reading it, I thought it would be really interesting, cause how many manga out there are about women studying to be doctors?
But it turned out to be terribly disappointing. The female lead is too much of a dimwit, too dependent on others for her motivations and has absolutely no charisma whatsoever.
I tried to keep reading it, I really did. But there's no way i can ignore such an ANNOYING female lead. So if you think you can get past the dull and whiny character of the girl. This should keep your interest, unlike mine.
ok, i did like it overall, it was cute but not that exciting. i reallt liked the main character's friends though, i wish there were more people like them throughout the book, but hey, it was only one volume, how much more could you cram in there. two things really bugged me though throught the book.
- the male lead just looks like a grown up version of the male lead from Arakure (i've seen authors use the same design for different characters in other books that they've written, but it particularly bugged me in this one, i don't know why)
- YOU'RE A DOCTOR, STOP SMOKING!!!! it's like having an obese doctor tell you that you need to shed a few extra pounds... DON'T SMOKE!!!

It's a nice and sweet heartwarming story and I enjoyed it very much. But as oters have said, the ending was rushed. It had so much potential for the development of their relationship. It could've had at least one more chapter and that's cutting it short. The Omake made up for it but it was still too short. Nevertheless, it was a cute story and the art was lovely.

this is the 3rd of 4th time i've read this manga. i feel like i've only reading this for the first time. yeah it's short and sweet. i agree with some peeps here, i would like to see more of how they developed their feelings for each other. i'm glad the author added the omake because it ended too quickly. nonetheless, it's a great fic. for me it'sa 10.
Hmm I couldn't bring myself to give this one the full ten. The reason is that this manga was really enjoyable and the romance was really sweet but I thought the romance was also a bit lacking, there could have been more and at the end it was nice to see how things turned out but it would probably have been better if the relationship had been allowed to develop a bit more rather than how the mangaka portayed things in the end.
like a lot of people have said, it's a very cute and light read.
i reaaaally~~ wanted some more fluff moments with them as a "couple", but oh well. it had just the right amount of drama and sweetness.
it surprised me that she could be so happy and determined even though her parents died. she was a strong character in that aspect. :] and while i'm in this box, i wished we knew how they became a couple and discovered their feelings for each other~ v_v BUT at least it concluded with marriage and them being doctors together. hehe.
i like the girl she isnt someone who is like a strong gangster who is really ionate about something but someone who is a bit weak but strong willed i like that non hardcore personality!!!
also the plot...it was pretty cute the neighbors thing...it reminded me a bit of limited lovers...only more entertaining!!!
the charcters...the minor characters are really funny!!! Abe sensei is not my favorite type of male lead but the character develpoment is just so great!!!
the ending seemed a bit rushed but...the omake made up for it...
in short its sweet and short enjoyable read...fufufufufufufufu...
