Kodama's Best (So Far)

I think Kodama hit her stride with this manga and my expectations for her future work have been raised significantly.

There is one speedbump late in the run, revolving around FL's insecurity about ML being abroad. I didn't care for how that was handled, even though they end up together in Finland. For it to happen so late also tells me that Kodama may not have been as confident in her story as initially indicated.

As far as romance manga go, this is one of the best and I give it my highest recommendation.

What a surprise, I wonder how this never popped up for me. But atleast I got to read it when it was completely scanlated 😁

For the hesitant commenter below, there's no tragedy tag and it's not even bittersweet hehe~ Actually I was happily surprised by the lack of drama drama there was, especially compared to some of her previous work.

Instead we got 10 wonderful volumes of irritated coworkers to mutual muses to lovers.

And while there is some drama (it is a tag), it's the normal relationship type, and it was toward the end, like a climax.

Anyway a solid josei! I love the colored webtoons and manhwas of recent times, but there's just something special about the classic Japanese manga. Someone recommend me something recent like this please~

A slow burn romance, but like in a more mature way than the usual "will they, won't they". Each have their own background and the way that they connect through pottery is a truly an art. There are only 29 chapters till this date and boy, the author sure know how to deliver in each one of them. Don't know how it'll end and yet I already know that I'll like it

I don't like to go into series without knowing a little bit more about them. Can anyone tell me if this has a happy ending?
