I came across this title a couple of years ago but the description (/synopsis) was so muddled, I took it as a sign of the translation quality and ed by it. The comments also offered nothing aside from digs at the translation and negative views, convincing me I was doing the right thing.
I'm not sure what made me eventually start this, but I took the chance and, with the artwork being pretty sub-par - aside from the odd moment of love - and the slow start, I wasn't too impressed. But, damn, I'm glad I saw the potential and stuck with this!
This story is multi-layered and one of the most rewarding reads you'll have.
An old woman with dementia turns up at the abandoned house a family of children are struggling to survive in, gifting them love, hope, morality, protection and, of course, martial arts. The story follows the children as they grow until, one day, their "grandmother" re who she is, her role in the world, and sets off to complete her unfinished business. Sadly, her mind confused, she forgets most others things in the process, while the eldest, the MC, leaves to find her. This opens the door to a wuxia-style coming-of-age drama, set against the backdrop of a good versus evil war about to unfold and men so powerful, that they literally are on the verge of transcending to Heaven.
As I wrote: this is multi-layered... but it also kicks arse, hits a range of emotions a simple "kung fu" comic has no rights to even get close to, and teaches a powerful lesson in the process.
I could write more about the greatness of this title but it's best to go into this and just enjoy the ride. The artwork remains a bit goofy throughout, but it definitely improves, and even has some truly magnificent s.
Do not miss this.
TL;DR, this is pretty great. Read it.
Lots of wholesome family moments and interesting characters that you would grow to like. More than a few hype moments.
Highly recommended for action lovers. This series is actually complete, not rushed or anything. I might have liked a +10 years later epilogue, but the ending is well done.
My one issue with the story is I think the translation is not quite good enough. The story still works, but the translation could be better. Mind you, it is above average for manhua/manhwa translation, but this story deals with quite complicated issues, so it requires more.
The pacing could be better, but I'm really nitpicking here.
I don't know how to review this one without giving spoilers and disturbing the experience to read this one in your own time.
All the reviews below are similar, is really hard to no give a 10 for this one, even with the flaws.
If you like Wuxia, you must read this one, because can change how you will really read others stories in the future.
Not the best of all, but looks like will be the best Wuxia of all times for a while.
A wonderful read with a strong, kind, and heroic main character, loving family , some romance, and thought-provoking philosophies.
Read it, it is a great hidden gem.

I tried writing something deep to do service to this story but I really can't. Just try it out! It's been a long time since I've seen a story with such unique but spectacular art and most importantly such a moving plot. The plot follows the mc as he grows as a person, both physically and mentally and it's definetely a great journey to follow along. Story is still being translated so looking forward for more!
