Geumja Kim is the biggest (and only) fan of Kyle du Vilteon, a side character in the fantasy novel King Maker. Her never-ending search for Kyle content is forever changed when she dies while rereading the book…and somehow awakens in Kyle’s bedroom to a new life within the novel’s pages! She is then shocked to learn that Kyle can also hear her thoughts—luckily, only if she thinks of his name. Still, there’s no time for this fangirl to daydream because Kyle is doomed to die. Can she save the apple of her eye...and in the process, become his? 171n4j

I was actually kind of enjoying this one in a turn-brain-off kind of way, up until a part in the story where the MC
Is sold to some men to be human trafficked by a man she thought was a good person. This isn't the egregious part, though, that comes when, after escaping and finding the man who sold her she just... lets him go. No punishment, nothing, she simply lets him go so he can go find another woman to traffic for money later, simply because he has a sick brother.
I dropped the series immediately after this part, because that was not only abhorrent, but it was also irredeemable in my eyes.
MC is super dumb, and the absurdity makes it funny in the beginning. Later on it's just a braindead, no logic read. If you try to reason with anything in the story, it's only going to make your head hurt. Best to just read till the starting of the war and then simply skip to the end
Pretty proud to say that I put the 100th rating here...
This story is hilarious. She is weird... and a total pervert which is a nice contrast to all the male perverts. I really like it.
I never imagined that it would take some of the harshest realities and make them comedic as well as highlight the seriousness of war or a battle for the throne.
100% recommend because this is a great Manhwa
It started out with a bang and had me cracking up, but started to feel repetitive after a while and the plot just wasn't moving. I also would love to know the background of the character that Geumja Kim took over, but so far they've given no insight into that. Dropping at chapter 69, which feels like an appropriate chapter to stop at. 😉
a lot of comments here are taking this webtoon /too/ seriously !
yes that gag was that she crossdresses but its not even bought up again in the later chapters 😭
if you can just take this webtoon for what its for (its comedy!!!) then you'll enjoy it! also ik a lot of yall think the fl is creepy but I've read so many manhwa's where the ml acts the EXACT SAME WAY so pls stop hating her 😕 anyway as i mentioned its a cute manhwa where nothing is really serious 😌
(p.s a comment asked why she kept declining to be a maid and stay as a stable boy. ITS IN THE STORY!! she said she loved the stable life and would keep doing it. Theres no big reason 💀)
Read up to chapter 58, then skipped to the end. The story just dragged to much, and after a while the cross dressing obsessive main character just became annoying.
It had a LOT of potential in the first ~5 chapters, even if mc was creepy. Her design and how she was introduced with the dynamic of the characters was good enough to keep me interested, even if some dialogue decisions by the author annoyed me from the start. But it went downhill after that.
mc should've just become a maid or knight. I expected them to give her a job as a maid after some time, but no, 70+ chapters of horse stable boy.
It makes no fucking sense for the prince to come visit a hut in the fucking woods of some random servant boy, even with the telepathy. ESPECIALLY because of rumors AND her literally not being able to help in any way except in the last moment through forced luck and plot by the author. She can't even get near the ml and HAS to wait for his whims to visit her while she slaves away without any way to help him as a horse stall boy.
Though the thing that infuriates me the most is that she cut her hair. She had SUCH a good design. Instead of asking the prince for a favor before deciding to crossdress or winning the prince's interest by telling him she can see the future, she decides to go to a position where she absolutely can't help the prince. And even after getting MULTIPLE chances to become a maid, she still stays as a fucking horse stable boy.
I also completely agree with the review from @MorganaReads
