I can see how much time and effort sensei put into this work.
This is definitely one of the most captivating yaoi plots I’ve ever read.
The chapters depict a unique vampire-verse mindset with interesting characters’ backgrounds. I love how the depth of relationships is conveyed mainly through actions and details.
Also, it’s a really intelligent idea to tell another couple’s touching story before accelerating the main couple’s relationship.
However, I would love a happier ending for the vampires’ couple, because it wasn’t really convincing to me to ‘happily kill the one you love’ instead of ‘happily living together’. Maybe the vampires’ biggest happiness in this manga is to die with the one they love.
Although the ending satisfies me, I personally think the climax could have been better if the main vampire coveyed his love more distinctly.
The art is undoubtedly stunning and detailed.
Definitely a worth-reading manga.
