It maybe be short, but it's short because it's not full of love triangles (well there is one) and misunderstandings.
But it's also short because there is no side character development or other couples to follow (or too much MC development), it also doesn't follow the main couples romantic steps except for a very few firsts, and like most high-school romances it ends after their first kiss, which is disappointing as always, but I have read stories where they don't even show that, so I can't complain.
It's definitely worth reading, specially since it won't waste a lot of your time, like other higher volume count stories that reach the same conclusion and stopping point, but there isn't anything all that new to experience either, the introvert-extrovert couple was probably the most distinct aspect of it (not that it hasn't been done before) and it could have been explored in much more detail and depth.
