I've been really into plots like this with the corporate drama and shady backdoor deals recently, so I enjoyed it. And I really like the characters' dynamic, with Soheon being just enough of a back talking smartass to Ho Seo, the cold and sometimes violent high-powered CEO who definitely has a soft spot for Soheon.
I only wish they better communicated the state of their romantic relationship as it was kept pretty ambiguous even until the end. I kept waiting for like an actual confession of their feelings, but neither one really ever itted they loved the other despite being down pretty bad for each other, and even willing to sacrifice themselves for each other. I guess that could be explained as just the nature of their relationship as two people who aren't really romantic in any sense though. Still, it felt like they came so close a few times and like it was gonna happen only for them to never quite say anything nor even really demonstrated their feelings through actions, except in life threatening circumstances.
Otherwise, I felt sometimes like the plot was kinda choppy or like I was missing some parts? Not sure if that is because I was reading a censored version though and some of the parts they took away would have helped for smoother transitions between some sections.
I thought the art was OK apart from how expressionless a lot of the characters looked in many scenes. The closest thought I had was it was cold and isolated in each chapter as we see the office and his apartment.
I feel like it would be improved if we had a better translation or just some notes because I am struggling at CH28 with Lehzin. I feel like it this one of the driest plotlines I read in the last few months...I don't find the MC or the LI all that compelling other than the MC's brother isn't really worth the suffering for considering their relationship status.
I ended up dropping since I feel like maybe the adaptation is just p depressing than actually holding my interest now.
I like to think a good story has both ups and downs to show the lengths a character will go at their worst. The MC is only ever down, and as of chapter 30, has never been given a single break. It shouldn't take 30 chapters to show at least what the MC is fighting for and taking all the abuse by every single character. This also isn't hyperbole, the MC has no characters fighting for him, even the main antagonist/love interest. The love interest makes his life a living hell (the sex is even explicitly said to be without lube and no prep, an added detail that just adds to the feeling of torture). The art is nice to look at, but it feels cold and technical, which I suppose would match the story so far. All the tones feel very gray and makes the feeling of dread that much deeper. I don't hate read so apologies if it gets better later and this review doesn't match the rest.
edit: i should have noticed this is a drama and not a romance genre, it makes the lack of emotions more understandable. I still stand by my arguments of a need for tone changes and the color tones being flat and grey though.

Read some of it on Manta so I got the gist of the story but without the smut. Lezhin is having a coin back sale right now so gonna collect coins for that.
Nevermind maybe it was minsinfo on the poster's part or misposting on LZ's part.
Looks like the series still on.

It's an actual travesty that this series has a R-15 official English translation on Manta. It's only 4 dollars or so a month on Manta so do the author with the official releases.
I have to say that the artist's strong point is their art but not their writing, so the combo of Chaepali-nim (original written work) and Gaet Saeng-nim (artwork) is great.
