I think this was a cute story where the uke helped him grow and love baseball again. The seme was really the cute puppy obsessive possessive type but who is kind to the uke lead. I don't think the story was anything out of the ordinary...It was cute and wholesome though and I liked how set their personalities were.

Typical story of "I'm straight, this guy is pursuing me, after some time I realize damn they are a nice and kind person to me so I fell in love with them" type of BL story.

I like the element of reunion/past playing a role to justify Hyun (seme's) 7+ crush on Youngjoon (uke).

At a certain point though I dropped it (40 chapters or so) because I felt like even though it was wholesome and cute, and their relationship was developing in a nice linear manner I felt that idk...wasn't interesting me anymore.

Baseball and Bl combination. Really sweet and nice story.. I reading a similar kind of BL story called base to base. It was nice as well. Also... THIS IS THE FIRST MANHWA I READ WHERE ONE OF THE MC ACTUALLY ACCEPTS HE IS GAY. That just doesn't happen in any manga/manhwa. It's refreshing instead of I'm not gay I just like you bull$hit.

This was really a nice read. Well-paced, wholesome, yummy fluff. Not surprised that it's been licensed on so many platforms. It is mostly devoid of drama, with very likeable characters. The uke, Youngjoon, is very mature and understanding especially considering the fact he's straight and has to deal with a gay irer. The seme, Hyun, was so extremely adorable, omigosh! He was tender and kind and a big crybaby, which made me want to scoop him up in my arms and cover him with kisses, LOL. The story was really good at showing the progression of the two main characters' relationship, and I didn't feel like I had to suspend as much disbelief (as in some - many - BLs) to believe that the straight guy could really be okay with a gay romance, because the relationship was built upon their shared love of baseball and the seme's almost life long iration for the uke as a player.

It is a SFW BL, so there are no explicit sex scenes, but I think that's for the best. Honestly, this story didn't need them (and many manhwas suffer from relying too much on sex to carry a lackluster plot). There was so much good romantic tension, carried through both the drawings and the words, that I found it quite satisfying. The amount of communication the two MCs had was also very gratifying - I felt there was a lot of respect in their relationship. Overall, worth reading if you love cute, puppylike, spoiled, sweet seme characters, and wholesome romance. Plus, the baseball angle wasn't too much either. I'd easily read this again.

This is a good BL book if you're starting to read BL 🙂
