I'm not fond of the first story at all. The translators left the word "baka" always untranslated, which is annoying, pulls me from the story, and seems unprofessional and a bit sloppy to me. Also, not cool with the forced sex at the start. And I don't get why they're always punching each other. "Comic" effect? Not great. Very juvenile. Also, the story isn't very good overall.

The second one was better, though still cliche. They still did the hitting thing (but less annoyingly this time) and the "baka" thing (why??). But I liked the characters much better. They were more human and more interesting to read about.

First of all, the relationships in this manga are adorable. It's a really nice blend of sex, romance, and light humor. It feels like the characters are taken seriously enough to feel like the awkward teenagers they are, instead of BL stereotypes laid bare, but still makes good use of said stereotypes and tropes in very charming ways.

The weirdness comes from the first story, and not because of the content, but because of the way there was this weird focus on Kojima hitting Kurata, and Kojima feeling guilty for actually having hurt him. It's especially weird since, at first, it feels like it's just being played up for laughs; so, it was kind of uncomfortable until Honjou fleshed out their relationship.

What really made it work, however, was the fact that Kurata reaffirms that he enjoys goading Kojima, and even though Kojima enjoys hitting dominating Kurata in response, it's clear that Kojima still very much cares for him and does't want to actually injure or be a jerk to the guy he loves. They touch and treat each other like equals, and I found myself wishing that more mangaka would work out a similar approach, instead of the usual property/owner or slave/master dynamics so many seem to write out.

It's definitely not free of typical stereotypes, but Honjou works them well and gives her a characters a wonderful and very warm human element. The second story doesn't focus on a sadomasochistic relationship, but it's still just as sweet, and refreshing to see two characters work out their problems instead of needlessly drawing it out for the sake of angst.

The stories themselves might not stick in your mind in the long run, but after this, I think the mangaka's name definitely will.

Kojima & Kurata are definitely my favourite couple from this series, they are such a perfect fit ^__^!

I couldn't stop laughing at the outcome of this story. The characters are hilarious and are a match made in heaven. But i do feel some dread when thinking how they might turn out 10 years down the line snicker Anyway, the art is lovely, the characters are fun and the story keeps you reading. Not much else i can ask for. As for the second story... not at all original ^^; at first i thought i'd read it before because the storyline and character types are very familiar, but then i just realised that its just using a very standard storyline and theme and similarities were inevitable. It was a fun little read but not very interesting since its an over-used theme and this had nothing special to make it stand out D:

the sex was hot lol, in the Adapted form, you see more of a sweet story since the characters were more shy(at least one of them lol) So it was all "slow paced" when it came to sex(not that it lacked about it in anw, but u know, sometimes fierce is more entertaining lol).. Buuutt here lol oh dear, i like all the couples you get to see different types of Seme, the ukes have a similar pattern, a cool one.
Cute and funny, another title i loved reading

I loved this story. Kurata and Kojima are soo cute and perfect for each other. It's was funny to see Kurata enjoying the tormanent from Kojima. But funny as hell too!

ahhh! This manga was so cute and funny and i was like "oh no!" through it all. Kurata is such a masochist!! And then Kojima just loves beating him up, and its funny when Kurata just gets punched and hes all "I love you!!" XO Amazing. Wish I had a guy like that. XP I thought Hiroto was the hottest of all the guys. He was so sad looking and pitiful...but so cute. I just wanted to hug him. And Kota is x__x abusive. Just like Kojima. Theyd be bestfriends! I hope Honjou-san makes more stories like this, especially with Hiroto and Kota. I would love it if they got found out by their parents. ♥

first off the 1st story, it was funny. I just love their relationship and how they interact with each other. I fell sorry for Kurata for the constant beating by Kojima but he likes it anyways so its all good lol. The second story is better, an intimidating, tall, sarcastic, opinionated but SHY SEME and somewhat a small, cute but scary UKE. It's soo funny
