It was a surprisingly well written and drawn series in a genre full of tropes and weak imitations, But, for whatever reason, the last chapter (45) was released on 2023-01-07 and people are still commenting asking for updates on the publisher's site: https://ac.qq.com/Comic/comicInfo/id/649516
It never got a chance to standout with some really special plot twist beyond the original premise and a few minor developments it hinted at so I can't really give it a perfect score... But, it was all top notch stuff really.
I wasn't expecting much but man this just blew my mind.The story is surprisingly well written with ample quantities of seriousness & comedy without diluting 1 other.The entire premise is funny & the MC is very cunning & likeable indeed.The dialogues are sharp & other characters r also well memorable. Definitely worth it

So far I’m actually enjoying this unlike many other cultivation stories, the MC isn’t OP so for once we have narrative stakes and instead the MC has to be clever and resourceful or he could be killed bey the demon cultivators. I have high hopes for this one.
