2 Volumes (Complete)
2 Volumes (Shinsouban, Complete)

The two volumes of Daisy Luck read more like a series of interconnected one-shots than like a two volume series. That said, this one-shot feel is part of the charm of the series. Each of the four characters' tales are told in one, two or three one-shots over the course of the two volumes, with characters interacting with each other and discussing the events (in their lives and their friends' lives) as they unfold. This might sound a bit confusing, but it actually isn't... and it makes the series more enjoyable than a simple volume of one-shots. Daisy Luck is definitely josei - dealing with more mature relationships (life-wise, not sex-wise - there is no smut here) and the lives and struggles of women turning 30.
The extra one-shots were a bit hit or miss. "Holiday" was a miss, with very little plot and no real point. "Siesta" was a charming story with some pretty funny parts. "Long Stay" was another odd story... but this one had a bit more to it than the first extra did. However, as near as I can tell, it's basically a one-shot about how bathrooms in America are different. Okay, there was more to it than just that... but not much!
Overall, this is a good manga for older readers and those who like josei. If you're looking for smut or fluffy romance, this probably isn't for you. Otherwise... Give it a try! It's worth it 🙂
