Yoshiko is a hardworking high-school student whose free time is almost entirely taken up by attempts to help out a hikikomori childhood friend and an odd, reclusive uncle. sv2h
While on a visit to her uncle's penthouse with two of her friends, Yoshiko notices a black substance that resembles snow beginning to fall from the sky -- but her friends see nothing. Soon afterwards, a massive earthquake shakes the city, and Yoshiko, her friends, her uncle and his dog, all find themselves trapped in a strange world they do not recognize...with an assortment of weird people to keep them company.
Note: Volumes 6 and 7 contain a four-chapter short manga, also named Sprite. It acts as a prequel and tells the story of Fuyuko and Shingo.
15 Volumes (Complete)

This manga is much like Drifting Classroom, but obviously less randomly thrown-together than that manga (naturally, since this is seinen). The characters, characterization, and art are below average. I'm not interested in finding out what horrific dystopian sci-fi trope is going to threaten the group next, so I've dropped it.
For a dark post-apocalyptic sci-fi action survival story, something like Dragon Head or 7 Seeds is far better. Or if you don't like manga which are full of despair and inability of the characters to accomplish anything short-term in the face of that despair, go for something like Shingeki no Kyojin, Berserk, or Hoshi no Samidare. Anyway, this story only has "fast-paced" and "unpredictable" going for it.
I really like it. It's mystic and intriguing. The art is very good. The character plots could have gotten some more attention as it jumps ahead without explaining or giving enough detail as to what happened between some characters. But still, I'll give it a 9 because I'm excited to see where it'll go from here (I'm at ch19 atm)
i really like this manga and i do think it's awesome , so I'm really hoping there will be more chps soon.
But really this manga did remind me of gantas which is good thing and a bit of 7seeds but as the previous reviewer said the art is really good.
its a bit weird att first and a bit missleading but it turns out great , but i cant say that much i'm only att ch17...............tacke a shoot and read it , its worth it :3
I'm not fan of survival and i hate children vs adults stories. But this is great!
The story till second ark goes very smoothly, not just a collection of seperate episodes. Awesome arrt. Realistic and cute at the same time. Just enough ecchi to satisfy curiosity. Can't say much about sengoku jidai ark (only 1 volume till now). It's average for now.
I don't rate manga till it's finished, but if i would do it now. Without second ark it's solid 8/10. Taking all 7 volumes it's 7/10.
Wow! I really REALLY like this manga so far! I've read through chapter 9, and I agree with the previous reviewer that it does remind me of Gantz. But unlike the previous reviewer, I think it's VERY good (and reminding me of Gantz is a good thing, hahaha!). I think it gets more intense and more exciting as the chapters go on. I'm totally hooked on the mystery and intenseness of it so far. I can't wait to read more! Definitely check it out, if you like seinen series!
I've only read the first two chapters and it's very weird and I can't see where its going, I don't know why but it reminds me of Gantz although I think its just the art. But at the moment it's not very good but then again its only the first two chapters.
