From Illuminati-Manga: s4m23
Alice waits with her mom in an elevator. All the men look at her mom's breasts. Alice doesn't see the reason in it. Although, for some reason, it doesn't seem right.
While pondering the reason why, she realizes she's in another world just like that famous protagonist in that one story.
There, strangely enough, she too has the guys' eyes glued to her, for she was an adult woman just like her mother.
This is a French publication.
Oneshot (Complete)

It's interesting. My interpretation, after reading the summary of this site and a Romanic one, is that the girl, who's with her mother, who's being oggled by men in an elevator of a subway, realises what men see when they look at her mother. Her face is shown in goggles of a man... She 'sees' the 'world' behind the eyes of the men, their predatory desires.
She doesn't get it at first, but, it seems like an epiphany.
It's cool. The artist is French, who's style is influenced by manga art style. For some, like me, the story will seem like an art. It's good in than sense. You have to study it to know it.

Yes, the artwork is interesting and also the artistic POV or it's changes, but then again the story is without the explanation probably hard to grasp with one glance. It has some kind of distracting focus on a few elements, that didn't really got me the impression of the things explained, so I might also have interpreted it in another way. So, all in all ... Maybe it just strifes to much on the art area and misses other aspects, like the clear scene caught in and picking the readers interest, although it's already really short. Sighs.
This is not drawn in the conventional manga style...and so I find it quite refreshing. It has no words, and to be honest, I wouldn't have got what it was about if I didn't read the synopsis. A mildly interesting experiment, nothing more.
It's actually pretty good. It's short but conveys meaning expertly without the need for text. It's directed at a very specific audience, not just general readers. Anyone who gave it lower than a 5, well, I can and will assume most of them just flipped through it and didn't pay much attention to this story at all. Everything is implied rather than explicitly stated.
I would say it's not bad since it does a pretty decent job in portraying her hidden desires and the individual frames do a fair job in capturing the emotions of the various characters. However, since the story(if you could call it one) lasts only a short number of pages and barely has any story to it, well... it certainly deserves a 6 at best for its' style and eyecandy.
