Just curious on other people's thoughts. Personally I loved it. 😀 I was worried about how it would end after the hospital mini-drama, but I actually thought the ending was kind of perfect for the series. Which is nice since it's disappointing when a series you follow for a while ends poorly. I almost died when yano kept saying I love you over and over. hahaha 423b1s

Thoughts? Anyone totally hate it or anything?

Bokura ga Ita as been going on for almost 10 years... I've been with it since the anime, 6 years ago. Holy Moly!!!!!!!! It surprises me that i the main couples names because i usually forget 😛 . I have around 60 mangas in My List and this is the second!! It feels great that it's finally done and really sad at the same time 🙁 . Maybe it's just because this is one of my first romance mangas, but i found it superb. I recommend Bokura ga Ita to whoever is reading this. Please read it 🙂 .

The hospital scene was good. So much emotion; if i was a girl i would have most likely cried. I just wished there was more. i love lots of post-climax story in everything, but that's just me.

Another somewhat similar shoujo manga, Kare Kano, has the best post-climax in all of history!!! I suggest you look it up. It's an amazing read. Wow i'm just so happy that Nana and Yano are finally back together. It has been long for them and even longer for us, literally. It's crazy how true this love story is. If my memory serves me correct i'm pretty sure that Nana is still a virgin. Not even the head haha.

Bokura ga Ita was just beautiful overall...I thought hospital mini-drama was a little bad, though. The whole series recreated the standard for shoujo for me, and to just throw in something like that was a bit...I guess unprofessional? (not to mention cliche, and making everyone worried to death over a little fall on the stairs..-_-) I mean, the scene didn't serve any purpose to me other than an excuse for them to meet again, since everyone knew it was going to end in the next chapter or so, so obviously Nanami wasn't going to die or anything...(because if you think of it logically it would have been greater and a much bigger impact if she didn't...so if she wasn't going to...why add that in there other than for that paltry reason?)

Like HucSao, I've been hanging onto BGI ever since, back when you could still watch anime on CrunchyRoll haha, and so it's a big important series for me. I still think the ending was not bad. It was powerful and convincing. Despite everything (if there was literally anything at all), I think it was great, as you said, to see them together again after...like half the manga. xD

BGI had an amazing blend of humour, romance, innocence, and everything sweet as well as tragedy, reality, and all that. It was heart-wrenching...but also a great read. 🙂
