Soi Fon's bankai is not what I expected for her at all, but it is pretty damn cool.

Good to see more of the Lilinette vs Ukitake fight. I had almost forgotten that one was going on.

Still, wish I had some confirmation that Halibel is alive.

Tthe whole thing with Ukitake and Lilynette was real funny. I bet the pedos will love to see that when it appears in the anime. 🤣 I'd rather see more of their fight and Shunsui/Stark than Barragan/Soi Fon. I still don't like how Kubo made Barragan play around with Ōmaeda on purpose just so that it could buy time for Soi Fon. 🙄

I have one question fo you all. Do you all think that Soi Fon's bankai is:

1. A one-time only attack?
2. An attack where her rocket can come back to her for her to shoot it over and over?
3. An attack where she can make more and more rockets to shoot due to some kind of technique Kubo will reveal later?

Lance or missle, either way that is an unexpected bankai for her, if it is a missle I think its a oneshot kill if it hits, but if it misses she's finished.

Well, it is a bankai, so it wouldn't make much sense for it to become useless so quickly. I'm leaning towards #2 right now but 3# seems more useful than picking up your missile after every shot, it is a bankai after all.

i still can't believe that Kubo gave her a rocket launcher for a Bankai. considering the supernatural elements of the series i guess he was thinking what better to use than a Rocket Launcher like RE. 😛 cause that's seriously the only place i can think this sort of inspiration came from. since everybody has a Bankai that actually suits them, she's like the only one to have something out of place like this.

I think it's more like Yumichika where she's embarassed by what it is than it not fitting her...it kinda goes with the whole theme of killing the target quickly. It's just this way is much more flashy.

i don't know it's like loosecannon pointed out the Zanpaktou's are extensions of the Shinigami. her Zanpaktou's Shikai form suited her perfectly, it was quick, small, and efficient. but once she pulled out her Bankai it turned into something loud, clunky, and noisy. since Yumichika was able to change his Shikai form it makes me wonder if that was the case for Soi Fon, and if so does this mean all along she was always a loud, clucky girl?
