Hey all, I literally haven't really touched manga since 2016 other than the infrequent catching up that I do on certain select series. That being said, I recently have started to read manga/webcomics again. I looked at the yearly top 500 list just to get a gauge on what I missed out, and it seems that almost all the manga I know basically got phased out. I know for a fact that there's a lot of good manga out there, and I'm certain that I missed a lot of good series, so I want some recommendations! 4e193o

I obviously have a preference, I'll list them below:

1. No harems. I hate that genre in particular, so please don't recommend me that genre. I also never particularly like transported-to-otome-game series, but isekai's are sometimes pretty good.

2. While I like most genres, I like comedy the best. I saw almost no comedy focused manga's so please give me your favorites.

3. No novel adaptations to manga/webcomic. Chances are, I probably already know the series

4. Series should have at least 40+ translated chapters (unless if it's a really short series)

Other notes: Like I said, I haven't really read a lot of new manga since 2016, but I have definitely read my share of manga before 2016. If it was already being translated and it was pretty popular before 2016, chances are, I know the series.

Lastly, here's a list of some series I have liked just to give you guys an idea on what I prefer, I guess. It's in no particular order because I just thought about them, and it's definitely not a comprehensive list

Mairimashita! Iruma-kun -> i like the balance between comedy and adventure and heartwarming moments

For webtoons, I recommend :

A good day to be a dog (completed)
Winter moon (ongoing) - also funny af
Mage & Demon Queen (ongoing) - It is comedic but idk if you'll like it since its yuri

It's not very long (yet), but Spy x Family is a great recent comedy series, you would probably enjoy it.

Other recent-ish series I enjoyed: Tokyo Revengers. All of then highly recommended.
