So, despite using the site for... roughly 4 years, I only just came across this page today: https://mangaupdates.sitesdebloques.biz/genres.html 5h6i67

I had never realized this existed before now, and it's a godsend, since I was super confused about certain genres which previously seemed to overlap with one another. (Adult & Mature), (Smut & Ecchi)
I'm still not sure of the difference between the Adult & Mature genres, but seeing these descriptions has finally cleared up the difference between Smut & Ecchi for me.

My suggestion is simple: Have these descriptions show up when you mouse-over the genres when adding a new series or editing the genres section. Possibly also when using the advanced search, or when simply looking at the genres listed on a specific manga page. I think it would make things more clear for whenever people are adding genres to a series and would avoid incorrect genres being added to a series. 😃

It definitely would be useful to have such tips. Although in case of Categories it would have been welcomed even more.
