i suggest you use mozilla firefox and the add-on tabrenamizer which lets you rename the tabs...just keep an unsuspicious tab (like youtube) ready so when someone goes by, you can just click on the unsupicious tab really quick...and just play it off

Haha. I get feel your pain. My mom prowls around too much too. I usually have more than one program open so I just switch programs everytime she comes near enough to see the dirty bits. It also helps that the comp is in my room and she doesn't sit there or anything, just comes to take and keep stuff.

and ctrl+"a number of tab" is an easy and quick way to switch tabs on mozilla

oh yes, i having this problem. Even with computer being in my room now and my door always closed my mom likes to walk in without knocking. I did like what the other people did, pulling the tab trick or closing it really fast with something in the background.

I one time i forgot that my 2nd tab had something like my myspace in the background (and my mom HATES myspace, she doesn't know i put pics of me on there) and so when i was reading some smut stuff i quickly clicked on my 2nd tab with my myspace picture there so i was clicking on both tabs really fast trying to decided what to do! I finally just clicked the whole thing the whole thing off. my mom was staring at me like "what the heck are you doing?" I didn't get in trouble, but she asked "you aren't doing anything bad are you?" I just smiled and said "no" and that "i was just coming out"

it was pretty embarrassing lol...I hope you don't run into that 🤣

If you use CDisplay to read manga just keep one hand on the esc key and controll it with the other. And keep aware of your surroundings and when you hear someone coming just hit esc and it will close. And then when you open the program again when they are gone push R and voila! You are right back where you started. I do that when reading yaoi because it's kinda embarrassing if someone catches me reading it. 🤢 😀
