Not as bad as this. I could understand what was going on in most of them but this one left me scratching my head.

Really? I felt the entire arc with Alma really confusing, heck I still am not sure what was going on there.

Yeah that one was confusing but after that it started to get less confusing but this last chapter just pushed the confusing level back up.

A very confusing manga? I do agree however that it was starting to make a sense after Alma arc but i still found that arc to be more or maybe equally as confusing as what is happening now,

I found the alma arc confusing because of all that was going on. Since it went monthly it seemed like they were trying to tell a part of the story in 30 pages that before going monthly would have been told in 70-80 and that can make things confusing because you have too much going on. That being said that wasn't what happened with this chapter. This chapter was just one of those what the hell did I just read things. This one was confusing because of all the screwed up stuff in it.

I read this chapter thinking, "Oh yeah, I'm going to help everyone break out of their confusion!!" ... Only to end up a bit confused myself.
From what I understand and what's obvious, the Earl is insane. He wants the 14th. What I can't figure out is if the Earl is Mana? But he can't be Mana, he killed Mana. How does the Earl fit into Mana and Lea?
Why is the mangaka still writing week length chapters when her manga is monthly? She's trashing so much time it seems like, she could fit in so much more and make things less confusing. 😐

I don't think the earl is mana. He has appeared in human form before and that is what he looked like if I correctly. I think what is going on is we are discovering that the things that happened when the 14th revolted might have been mana's doing. Also it looks like the fat earl people see might be a suit or skin or something like that.

I thought Earl was Mana as well, but then I'm thrown off by the premise of the beginning chapters... was it Mana that raised Allen or someone else? How did Earl kill Mana if he is Mana?
I thought it was already revealed that that Earl thing was just a costume.
But back to that flashback... was that Mana looking at Earl over his dead mother's body? Or was that Lea looking? But Allen called out "Mana".... is it possible that Lea was actually the one that looked over Allen, but called himself Mana?

lol its not THAT confusing guys. this arc is about the reawakening of the 14th. and lately we have been getting flashbacks of the 14th life. the 14th (Nea) and Mana were brothers as shown before. the reason why Nea left the Earl and the Noahs was said to be because he fought on Mana's behalf. but we dont exactly know what happened.
whats happening in this chapter (the important stuff) is that allen and the earl start seeing the past because of the noah consciousnesses (noah memories that they all have) during their skirmish. we first see an apparently pissed off Neah standing before Road Camelot and what appears to be the original body of the earl asleep/crying. and then we go to another flashback scene when we see Mana ( Neah's step brother and allen's adoptive dad) confronted by the earl at the end. we see the dead mother of Mana and Neah in front of the earl. the earl then greets Mana and blames him for everything that has happened. then cliffhanger ending....
so the events of the 14th revolution is related to what happened between the earl, mana, and then Neah. im sure she coulda explained this better but this is what is happening. and she needs to give us atleast 30 damn pages or else go back to weekly. i LOVE this manga but i honestly dislike the author for all the breaks and really short chapters

You can't really blame her for her poor health conditions. She was sick for two months so that put a brief delay on her output. Furthermore, she also had to do character design for Sunrise for their next anime. On top of that, she had to do a little something for Jump Festa. Her editor and ink/screentone team can only do so much to help her out with all of this.
She's a busy/fragile mangaka and "human" on top of all this. ^___0 Do not forget!
As for this chapter, it's gotten SERIOUSLY interesting, but now, I have to wonder if it's Nea at the end or Allen being overwhelmed by Nea's memory. 😀 So exciting. The past shown through flashes without really giving all of it away is great. Now, new things to theorize on. Whahahahahahaha....evil laughter
Edit: Poor Allen, when I think about it further. Not only does he have to work with Nea's memory, but he still also has HIS own memory that he needs to . >D Yay.

I must agree that after the Alma arc, things DID started to clear things up. However, this chapter just turned everything back to square one. The fact that the Earl's human form looks very similar to Mana, just leaves so many questions as to if he's really Mana. And also, Road in that chapter was seen defending a woman? from Neah, not sure the true identity of that person though.
Now the question is, why did the Earl blame everything on Mana? Why did he kill their mother? And how did the Earl forget about Mana if he really hated him in the past? To me, Mana is the real mystery here.
