Battle Royale- In the future, random Jr. High School classes are chosen to compete in a game called Battle Royale. The rules: only one student can survive after 3 days on an island or else they all perish. Weapons are handed out and each student is sent out into the field alone and unprepared for the horror that awaits them. The classmates turn upon themselves in a battle for survival, treaties are made and broken, and former friends become foes as the relentless countdown continues. Amid the betrayals and rising body count, two classmates confess their love for each other and swear to survive this deadly game together. 1yu5r
**It has a lot of gore and nudity, It's a good story if you could get that, also it's really long with short chapters
I second One Piece. :]

You are like the dense main character in a shoujo manga.

Peace that was created through war, isn't a lasting peace. It's a peace that was forced on the losers.

7 seeds still ongoing.
Octave
Mother Sarah- love this.
Kimi wa pet
Dragon Quest: Dai no Daibouken, arguably one of the best shounen adventure out there.
Bio-Meat: Nectar- the multiple timeskip across the storyline keeps me interested.

Third Seven Seeds - Excellent blend of survival and drama! All around epic~ I still follow it and i have trouble keeping up with manga.
Second Historie and Vinland Saga - If you're ok with historical manga, this two are superb. I especially love Vinland Saga <3 I have not yet fallen behind on these; they're very good.
Second Dangu - It has a historical fantasy feel. Very well crafted world and a great read. It's been forever since a new chapter's been released though.
Plenty of long shounen out there - Hunter x Hunter is my favorite, I also recommend Ao no Exorcist, Dragon Eye and Sengoku Youko.
If you're ok with shoujo Gakuen Alice is pretty long, but it might be too childish for your tastes.
Dogs: Bullets & Carnage is a seinen series i'm very attached to. It's very stylized and loads of fun 😀 Lots of interesting characters!

Detektiv Conan 😛 a good detective manga even if u don't like to read detective storys and u can use guess who is the murderer
D. Gray-Man: I just love it. Action + Fantasy + a lit bit romance not too bloody (even though i'm a girl i love it) but i think the anime is a bit better than the manga
He stepped back and threw his arms out.
"I'm always crazy around you Rose. Here, I'm going to write an impromptu poem for you."
He tipped his head back and shouted to the sky:
"Rose is in red
But never in blue
Sharp as a thorn
Fights like one too.” - Adrian; Shadow Kiss

Spiral: Suiri no Kizuna is my favorite manga. The characters are interesting and likable with appreciable character growth; the story is interesting and hard to predict; and, refreshingly, instead of fights being decided by 'power level syndrome' ala "Dragonball Z" and "Code: Breaker", the characters try to outwit each other.
I second Fruits Basket for the same reasons given in the original recommendation.
Elfen Lied is hit or miss depending on your personality. The violence and sexuality would turn many people off, but I like the characters and the story. If you watched the anime and liked it, the manga is definitely worth reading as it has a longer story and a better ending.
Happy World! is a fun, lighthearted manga with an interesting enough plot to keep you wondering how things will turn out, and a fitting ending.
Some great titles have been listed already... many of which are on your Reading List 🤨
I also vouch for Bio-meat: Nectar
Can't believe no one has suggested this yet: Rurouni Kenshin. Classic from the 90s. It's fast paced and has impacting characters. You've probably heard of it already. 20+ volumes.
Beck - Spans a lengthy period. Has a unique plot and was a monthly (longer chapters)
