I was 12 or 13 when I got my first mobile. It was a Nokia 5110 and it seemed that every other kid 'round the same age had one too, except for the ones who had a 6110 instead. A few filthy heathens had Ericssons instead. 🙂
I've mowed through a few diffent basic Nokia models and finally got myself a Samsung Galaxy S III around the time it was released.
- Nokia 3310. It had just come out. It even had a snake game.

12y/o (10 years ago). Sony Ericson T610. The keypad sucked but I used that phone for a couple of years until it broke.

Nokia 3310, I was just finishing primary school. I only used it for playing snake though. It wasn't until much later that I actually cared to change numbers and all that. I was never particularly excited about it. I still have that cell in one of my drawers and I reckon it still works. Haha. Needles to say it won't ever break 😐

I'm 17 today, but I still haven't had a cellphone of my own yet. In my home, we don't have a land line phone and our mother is the only one with a cellphone, so not likely to happen soon.
