Hello.Just as the title says. I'm looking for a manga like Miriam and Kanata Kara. Can be manhwa or manhua as well.It can either be in another world, universe or whatever. I don't care much, I just want a similar plot line. So I guess, adventure, action and romance. Some comedy and fantasy is welcomed but not necessary.I don't want a useless heroine..well..I mean, she can be useless, just not annoying useless 😀 For example in Kanata Kara, she wasn't very useful in my opinion, but she's adorable x3Thanks in advance for you suggestions. 6h3o33

What I read:
Miriam
Kanata Kara
Basara
Red River

Saver
It's dark fantasy, but the heroin is cool and strong.

I loved Miriam so much. I wish it was longer.

Anyway, you must read Pansy. The first translated vol is a little Engrishy but all the rest are fine. It gave me very much the same feeling that Miriam did but is longer and in many ways better IMO. The heroine is cute and very outgoing, adventurous.

kubera - but its a webcomic.

superior - Its my favorite manga. You can find adventure and romance here.Really good.

Tokyo Crazy Paradise - quite old manga but the female character is great. She is strong and funny also.

Kyuuketsu Yuugi - its almost like superior. My favorite manga also

Meteor Methuselah - Didn't finished it because its kinda boring for me. but it may fits your taste.

Akagami no Shirayukihime

Thanks lovemonster for recommending Pansy. I only read the first volume and I love it :3 I just hope there's some age progression.

And thanks xxkuroxx. I'll check out Kyuuketsu Yuugi. I read T and loved it. The rest I'm putting on hold for now.

I strongly third Immortal Rain, if you haven't already read it. It's got the romance, the action and adventure, and the richly developed world, characters and plot of the ones you mentioned above.

I would sort of second Hanatsukihime, though it's got a little bit less of the action/adventure and more of the romance. It's surprisingly well-developed for its length of two volumes. It had me expecting some cliche ending, but ended up delivering a pleasant surprise.

I would also sort of suggest Blue Ramun. It's been a long time since I read it, but I think it fits your requirements. That, and I find the premise extremely interesting. The execution of said premise didn't entirely fulfill my expectations, but it is a very interesting manga.

Thank you so much for all those suggestions. It seems Immortal Rain has a big group. I do agree it's great, I just put it on hold because I hate cliffhangers Dx It's driving me insane when I just don't know what happens lol

You're welcome smiling-face huggles
Though I did see a similar thread, something ''adventure and romance'' a few hours after making my thread o.o
I gotta start on Legend of Nereid now-ish (^,^)/

I LOVE KANATA KARA AND MIRIAM AND BASARA, therefore I love you 😀

I gagillionth Immortal Rain. It's amazing. One of my favorites. After I read Kanata Kara I read Immortal Rain and it was so wonderful. If you wanted to marry both Izark and Noriko like I do then you'll also want to marry Machika and Rain 😃

By the same author is Otogi Moyou Ayanishiki. I highly recommend it. The heroine is a little more timid than Miriam, but pretty much the same 'weak but hardworking' personality as the heroine in Kanata Kara. Plus the male lead looks and acts pretty much the same as all this author's male leads, which is fine by me since I love them.
