I read this fantasy book(it was NOT a manga) a long time ago and can't the name 3k3wk

i just that it had a girl who climbed some stairs for so long that she became the god of the stairs

I there was a knight in the book and i'm pretty sure the girl was the main character...and I'm fairly sure it was written in the 90s. Please help me find it! 🙂

Can you give any more information like what kind of fantasy world it was set in, any similarities to a country, culture or era? Was the whole book just her climbing stairs or just a portion?
Also, young adult fantasy or adult? 🙂

She didn't exactly become god of the stairs but she was saying something like she might as well be god of the stairs since she'd climbed them for so long.

So it's a novel?
