Hey, everyone. I just recently got into this series, and I was wondering if anyone knows if ShoujoMagic has any plans to update their low quality scans with newer ones? 71i6

It's kind of a pain that the names switch over to Chinese for awhile.

If anyone has any information in regards to this question, please reply, or message me.

Thanks.

Wow... even if they did.. wouldn't it take forever? ShoujoMagic usually works on like hundreds of series and it usually takes them a while as it is to release anything from one of those series...

Even with them doing the current thing of one release a day...I don't think any of their old projects will get anything HQ. They love their new stuff.

Its true it does take them awhile (I waited for nine months between chapters seventeen and eighteen of Boku wa Imouto), however I almost feel SM takes alot of pride in their work.

Knowing that, do you guys at least think it might be possible for them to do HQ scans?

I know that rerelased chapters 1 and 2 in HQ, but I am not sure if that should be interpreted as "We're redoing the older ones to make the quality standard throughout the series".

Why don't you go ask Siana? She's the boss of ShoujoMagic...

True, but I am pretty sure Siana might hate me, considering I stole a translation of theirs for my own use.

That was awhile ago, though, but its still something I did, and will take responsibility for it.

In that case...Why not get someone else to ask for you?...Not me though. I don't actually read a lot of shoujo...

I sure if you go to Siana and offer to buy, scan and re-edit it HQ under SM name she would let as you long as you do a good job. Also they are looking for a editor for Boku wa Imouto, If your interested.

Thanks for the info, but I don't own a scanner. Plus, I wouldn't even know how to properly scan them without totally destroying the manga.

The Boku wa Imouto info is interesting, maybe I'll look into it.
