i love both but i prefer sword fights

Nicely choreographed is nicely choreographed, well edited is well edited, appropriately fitting the needs of the story is appropriately fitting the needs of the story yada yada yada....I do find swords to be more versatile in moving visual media and personally find it more difficult to find gun fights as gripping (artistically, excitingly, etc.) outside of film westerns (aka "cowboy" shows). When it comes to physical fights in comics, most artist's works won't capture my attention (or if the fight scenes do, it isn't usually the fighting but something else)...same with sports shrugs. Accented Cinema did some videos on gun-fu some people might enjoy checking out. FYI, Keiko Takemiya's To Terra has action that's 1. fluid 2. If it was battle royale, and I was given the option between swords and guns, I'd choose guns any day. The range and killing power of guns far outmatches mere swords.

personally sword, I think sword is a romantic weapon cause in anime we know just how much superior can sword be (like how they can deflect bullets and so on). I kinda feel guns are not as fun as swords can be. That doesn't necessarily I can't enjoy guns anime (I enjoyed SAO FB just fine), but when it comes to anime, I'd prefer swords over guns mainly because of it's romantics.

I think it depends on the setting:
-if it’s high fantasy, historical fantasy, dark fantasy and historical, the sword is perfect because it recalls the romantic and epic images of heroes;
-if it’s modern times, thriller and science fiction, the guns are better because they are more advanced in of practicality and technology than swords;
-if it’s steampunk and urban fantasy both guns and swords are great because, in the first case, when the first guns were created they were used together with swords, while in the second one there can exist magic swords that permit long-ranged attacks or magic weapons that were reforged into magic guns.

I believe that swords are better, more spectacular fights.

Judging by the beauty of the battle, then swords are unambiguous, but if in of speed and efficiency, then guns, but there is little beauty in this ... 😎
