Yeah, it sure makes us look small and such. But we get along just fine with the people we got over here.

I mean manga updates is amazing but people mostly come here for the updates and the listings not the forums.

Mangafox has designated forums for discussions of each series. Here people only post reviews on the actual series info pages. Not like you could have a convo about it.

Also, we have designated forums for each series as well.

I think what makes us less populated is the fact that we are an update site, as opposed to a hosting site, so people pop in, pop out, and then go to a hosting site 😕

Yeah I'd say so too. Hosting sites tend to have a bigger flow of people. and are generally more renown

I'll be honest with ya, before a few days ago this place was just a pop in, pop out place for me as well. But I thought I'd involve myself more into a community.

What makes me choose MU over the others though, is that MU is an update site. If I need to check if the latest chapter is up, this is the place to look. Some Mangas does not exsist on MangaFox, but exsist on for example One Manga.

Looking trough all these sites for manga is a lot of hassle, so I simply started using MU instead, then go to the scanlators direct site.

Hmm? Why should mangafox be brought up?

They host manga, and yeah...their forums are quite active.
Take a gander at their new posts page.
Seems there is at least 1 new post every minute.

But this site is completely different, and so much better imo.
I don't want to slap any of the mods here ^^
It's tight-knit, clean and it's not full of pages and pages of spam.

Yeah, a lot of mangas aren't even on hosting sites at all, so this place is supremely useful.

Well, the first 2 years for MU were without a forum...
Another fact that skews our numbers is that a lot of people don't post. Most people here at MU for the lists feature (or thinking that ing gives you special ing features, which it doesn't, yet they still ask for s...)

Hrm, I'm more of a pop in pop out guy myself, but I use MU way more than any other manga site out there. Even the forums, I don't think I have ever looked at the forums for a hosting sight. Although I am not so active here >.<
