Manga artist Tsutomu Nihei will announce in a special book in Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Sirius on Saturday that his Knights of Sidonia is "headed towards its climax." 3c4f65

The special book will include a collection of Knights of Sidonia one-shot manga by other artists, including:

"Shippo" (Tail) by Yayoi Ogawa (Tramps Like Us, Kimi wa Pet, Ginban Kishi)
"Nihei-Sensei Gomennasai" (Sorry, Nihei-Sensei) by Akiko Higashimura (Princess Jellyfish, Kakukaku Shikajika)
"SDK48 Keikaku" (SDK48 Plan) by Koushirou Shimizu
"Ena no Kyōei" by Tatsuwo
"Morito Kyōka no Zen-Katachi" (All Forms of Gardes Strengthening) by Jyu Ishiguchi (Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Re: )
"Kidō Morito Suruuchi" (Mobile Gardes Suruuchi) by Hiroaki Michiaki
Nihei launched the manga in Kodansha's Monthly Afternoon magazine in 2009. Kodansha will publish the 14th volume in Japan in February.

Vertical publishes the original manga in North America. Netflix streamed both seasons of the anime adaptation after they aired in Japan, and Sentai Filmworks licensed the first season. The theatrical film compiling all 12 episodes of the first season with new sequences and redone sound effects opened in Japan on March 6.
