One Piece is, by far, the best shounen out there.The only problem is that Oda-sensei got carried away and wrote way more chapters than necessary, which is not really bad for those who are catching up, as there's plenty of content to read. Almost nothing feels like a filler. 3f2n6i
For the readers that are up to date with the chapters, whoever, every hiatus feels like a century (one week out of 3 won't...
Rachel = Griffith: walking the path of corruption to reach her goals;
25th Baam = Guts: would love a calm life, but keeps getting dragged into sh*t for trying to reach Rachel, even after she declares her disdain for him.
World building doesn't mean a thing when the story moves at a snail pace...
The dialogue became cringeworthy by season 2 (you end up reading people repeat the same sentence 5...
Problems with this series:
- The history drags on;
- The chapters were downsized from 60 pages to 13 (?!); *
- One of the "extra" characters got "author's pet" status for more than 40 (!!!) chapters;

- Style over content (there is good content, but it is "trope heavy" and volatile);
- Everyone is "snarky" (well, thats a...
This series is weekly but I only read it once every trimester, so there is enough content to keep me happy for more than one hour. Yes, it's that devoid of content, and the infinite flashbacks (to explain things that were made crystal clear many chapters before and didn't really need to be shown/drawn), sometimes flashbacks inside flashbacks... 10+ chapters flashbacks to explain why character X...
Unpredictable! Sexy! Funny! Beautiful!
If you don't have anything against tons of silliness, plus over the top "fan-service" situations, then this manga comes as a must read. What are you waiting for? Start reading it! Move your... 4SS!
The insufferable female lead is the biggest downside for most of this ride, forgettable side characters being the minor one. The narrative is pretty solid, and the "sidequests" are not that boring.
Overall, this manga doesn't feel as cheap and convoluted as, for example, Katsura's [I''s] or Kawashita's Ichigo 100%; It could be more openly compared to, let's say, Oshimi's Aku no Hana in content, .....
At first I felt guilty for reading this manga. The anime adaptation didn't help this feeling either, capitalizing on all the fan-service and "loli" theme; didn't help that feeling of guilty, too, that this series got translated by a guy that receives comissions for working on hentai (mainly on lolicon and worse material) and that I had to get out of my way and lurk around dark places to read it...
