1 Volume (Complete)

This collection is great. Yes, it's not deep and all, but I love the often hilarious, smutty (yum!) stories and no rape OMG! For people that are smut lovers and are sick of your typical, rape inducing smuts, this is perfect for you. Irrelevant note, love the first and third story, they cracked me up (read it for yourself). This mangaka is now my new fave smut author... :3

Now, I can't the other stories very well because I read them a long time ago, but the first story I have read about a hundred times.
It is soooooo good. The art is nice, the characters are interesting and the story was obviously so addictive that when I find myself without anything to read I come back to it time and time again.
There are flaws I suppose and perhaps small parts readers might not like, but I didn't really notice them because I was too in to the story.
I gave this a whopper of a rating and would recommend ^_^

This is my favorite of Kayono's one-shot collections. All three stories here are solid and entertaining. You won't find deep introspection in this volume, but you sure will find bishies, romance and some good ol' smut.
"Princess Man & the Magic Lamp" is a great gender bender. The male lead took a little time to grow on me, but the heroine is spunky and likable from the get-go. I really liked the ending and I thought it was a cool twist with the lamp. "Tearful Madonna" was another great one-shot with a hot male lead and a strong female lead. I really liked Mink's character, and I thought she showed great strength and heart all rolled into one hot mess. "The Beautiful Face Tribe" was just plain cute. I liked all the bishies and their over-the-top antics... and the ending was adorable and funny. Definitely a cute couple and a cute one-shot!
I'd recommend this to all Kayono fans, for sure... and also to those looking for a nice teaser of her work before diving into any of her series. If you like this, make sure to check out her other works!
I enjoyed the story lines and the art was very well done. I do have to say that the women were almost WAY out of portion in two of them. OMG, can women have them that big without falling over from the weight. Hello! Outside of that I thought they were fun one shots.
yeah, yeah, i know...i told everybody that i wont read nymorwe of Kayono's works cause she committed plagiarism but that was after i read diamond head and my sense bof justice is afading so anyways...
1st story- this was a fairly nice one!!! cause i like pirates...and also Sinbad's lusty devotion...tee-hee!~
2nd story- the plot was already a bit cliched and the sex was a bit hardcore for me so...
3rd story- this one was so cute!!! it was so unexpected...well to me at least...
overall...i think that i dont have to judge Kayono personally anymore...i just have to judge her works...and this one good!!!
Kayono has always been at her best when dealing with fantasy, at least concerning visuals: buildings and costumes are detailed and lavish, making up for her often flawed plot/characterization .
In this anthology her art is quite balanced body proportion-wise: smoother lines, neither huge hentai-sh boobs - if compared to her earlier works -, nor too skinny and/or 'square' bodies and/or bigger eyes == as in her latest works.
Furthermore, a short story format , like in this collection, seem to suit her best , given her aforementioned flaws (only made more apparent in her longer works, like Lovenista, or -heaven forbid- Royal Seventeen and Princess Hanaka == ).
Plagiarism issue aside, this is the manga I'd suggest to read for people - male readers included 😉 - curious to check out Kayono's style and look at the pretty art (quite on par with some celebrated shonen and seinen manga authors ) and range of genres, as it features all her strong points while dodgings her shortcomings - with basically none of the potentially offputting/offending stuff you can find in her other works - : while the first two stories are more action/adventure/fantasy oriented, the third one has a normal everyday setting and it goes for humour and surprise (also, this last one does not have smut in it whatsoever ^_^ , so if you want a break from smut or you just don't like it at all, you can happily check the third story. It's really cute actually XD, although you won't find much depth in it).
If you liked this anthology I'd suggest you to try B-Men Kazoku (can be considered a spin-off of the first one-shot here) : again, characters are not deep , but it's an entertaining romp (keep in mind there is lot of funny moments, some intentional, some really... not . And the female protagonist is... well, a boobalicious kind-hearted ditz ? XD ) with over-the-top clothes, settings, hairdos, misused magic powers... to the point I'm smelling some parody (and self-parody). Brownie points for not suffering from 'love thy rapist/Stockholm syndrome/non-con sex' smut staple too, offering instead a very, very detailed steamy sex scene [almost hentai level, but much more enjoyable thanks to the romance buildup. And quite realistic too. Kayono was on a roll here winks at male readers ]
You can try Shura to Otome if you want something darker (but -fair warning - also much more questionable in of romance and sex points at smut staple above ).

The first story could have ended better like the guy was from her old country. But it still a good ending. the art is pretty =)
the second story is also good & MORE better than the first story. The last story is not that good its okay art but not really worth reading.
A manga full of one shots that care you to different worlds, to a different view point of others, and beyond. The artwork is cute, and it is still very basic, compared to her current artwork. If you are a Kayono fan, you should read this one 😉.
Very smutty and often explict ^__^;; Stories are fairly cute and Kayono's art is deliciously gorgeous!!!
